Chicken neck is a delicious but cheaper cut of meat, providing protein and lots of flavour at a fraction of the cost. Combined with cooked veggies and Knorr Professional Tomato Pronto for an authentic Italian flavour!

Preparation

  1. Method

    • Heat the oil in a pot, add the chicken necks, Knorr Aromat Original Seasoning and fry for 2-3 min, stirring all the time.
    • Add the Knorr Professional Tomato Pronto Concassée, carrots, potatoes, 900 ml water (reserve the remaining 100 ml for the soup powder mix) and allow to simmer on a medium heat until the potatoes have softened for around 20-30 min.
    • Add the Knorr Professional Brown Onion Soup and water mixture to the chicken necks always stirring until it thickens and allow to simmer for 5-8 min.
    • Remove from the heat and set aside to serve.
  2. To assemble

    • Portion into grab-and-go containers and serve with stiff pap or samp & beans.
    • Plus offer combo meals by adding a roll or chips.
