Preparation

  1. Squid:

    1. Trim and cut squid into pieces and score.
    2. Dip the squid in water, then dip into the Knorr Professional Original Chicken Breading, toss the squid 10 times, press down 7 times and toss again 10 times. Deep fry at 160 °C until cooked.
    3. Quick fry the capers.
  2. Paprika Aioli:

    In a bowl, combine Hellmann's Original Mayonnaise with the roasted garlic puree and Robertsons Paprika.
  3. To Serve:

    Serve the crispy squid on a bed of rocket leaves, sprinkle with the deep fried capers, chargrilled lemons and the sauce on the side.
  4. Chef’s Tip:

    This recipe can also be used for calamari rings and calamari steaks.
