Method

You can’t go wrong with roasted chicken, freshly chopped veggies and Hellmann’s Tangy Mayonnaise – especially when it all comes together in a tasty toasted wrap perfect for a light summer lunch!

...

Preparation

  1. Method

    1. Remove skin from chicken and shred meat from carcass. Place in a bowl.
    2. Add the Robertsons Veggie Seasoning and Hellmann’s Tangy Mayonnaise and mix.

    To assemble the wrap:
    1. Heat the wrap. Fill with chicken mayo, grated carrots, sliced cucumber, and rocket leaves. Package, seal, price and serve refrigerated.
  2. Recipe Tips

    • Never heat a wrap in a microwave as it goes hard and will be difficult to wrap or roll.
    • Repurpose your leftover chicken to create a range of sandwiches your customers will love! Use it as a chicken mayo base or as a hot base chicken mix.
    • While leftovers are a saving grace, they don’t stay fresh forever and can be unsafe to eat if held onto for too long. Chicken should be eaten within four days of cooking it and stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
    • After chicken is cooked, it should sit out at room temperature for no more than two hours before being refrigerated to slow down bacteria growth.
    • If you think you won’t use it within three or four days, you can also freeze it to use at a later date.
  3. Take Your Filling Further!

    • Make a batch of chicken enchiladas.
    • Stir it into a quick curry in a hurry.
    • Stuff it into a baked potato.
    • Mix it into chicken salad.
    • Make chicken sandwiches or summer rolls.
    • Round out a grain bowl, pasta salad or bowl of ramen.
    • Cook it into fried rice.
    • Simmer it in a pot of soup.
    • Top a pizza with it.
    • Cook into a casserole.
    • Use it to make stuffed pasta shells.
    • Make a chicken pot pie.
    • Mix it into a frittata.
