A burst of flavour and comfort! Spicy chicken livers in a chutney-based sauce seasoned with Fine Foods Fruit Chutney and served with a side of stiff pap, samp and beans or the perfect slap chips.

Preparation

  1. Method

    • Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and Robertsons Rajah Medium and fry for 1 min.
    • Add the livers and brown for 1 min.
    • Mix the Knorr Professional Brown Onion Soup and the Fine Foods Fruit Chutney with the cold water, add to the livers, and stir on a low to medium simmer until the sauce thickens and the chicken livers are cooked for about 10-15 min.
    • Remove from the heat, set aside to serve.
  2. To assemble

    • Portion into grab-and-go containers and serve with stiff pap or samp & beans.
    • Plus offer combo meals by adding a roll or chips.
