If you thought the Future Menus Chef of the Year 2024 Durban competition was fierce, the excitement only continued with our second epic cook-off in Johannesburg on 4 June 2024!

THE KNIVES WERE SHARP, THE STOVES WERE SIZZLING, AND THE TALENT WAS 5-STAR!

You could taste the excitement as our next set of 6 top Chefs put on their aprons and stepped into the culinary arena bright and early. With only 2 hours on the clock, these culinary maestros had to flex their ultimate skills, crafting both a main dish and a dessert inspired by one of two key 2024 trends – Low-Waste Menus or Modernised Comfort Food.

Armed with a mystery box of ingredients, fresh produce, and Unilever Food Solutions products, our Chefs brought their A-game. They diced, seared, and sautéed their way through the challenge, showcasing incredible creativity, masterful skills, and pure craftsmanship!
